Aliya Gulamani

Aliya Gulamani is an award-winning commissioning editor with a strong commitment to inclusive publishing. She has served as Commissioning Editor at Unbound, the world’s first crowdfunding publisher, and as an Editorial lead for Unbound Firsts, an imprint dedicated to debut writers of colour.

In 2022, she was selected as one of the Bookseller’s Rising Stars and awarded The Ola Gotkowska Young Independent Publisher of the Year Award. She has also worked as a manuscript assessment reader for The Literary Consultancy, serves as a Trustee at Bookworks and has leveraged her keen eye for detail to proofread manuscripts for Penguin Classics.
